Support Staff / Non-Teaching Staff

First Class Supply and Training have built and maintained an excellent reputation across the north east for fulfilling the needs of local nurseries, primary schools, secondary schools, and further education establishments, and for ensuring our support staff and non-teaching staff secure work which is suitable for both their needs and experience. 

Support staff and non-teaching staff can cover a wide variety of roles such as: Cover Supervisor, Technician, Caretaker, Administration/Office, and Exam Invigilators.  If you have experience of a similar role within a school setting we can support you in your search for work.

All of our support staff and non-teaching staff have a registration appointment, not only to complete the vetting process and requirements to work within UK nurseries and schools, but to listen to you and understand how you would like us to support you in your search for work.  It is important to us that you feel confident, effective, and valued whilst on assignments.

First Class have assignments available within nurseries, primary schools, secondary schools, and further education establishments and depending on the role that you have experience in your skills are likely to be transferable between these different levels.  Whatever your preference and experience we will be able to support you.

First Class offer support and non-teaching vacancies to suit all your needs.  Maybe you are looking for full time or part time work, day to day, short term, or long term work.  If you are looking for permanent work, it is not uncommon for a nursery or school to offer you a contract or permanent role after you have completed a period of supply work.  For this we will not charge a fee to them, something which most other agencies use as a barrier to prevent you from accepting permanent employment.  We strive to look after our support staff and non-teaching staff, and will support you in any way we can if you are hoping to find permanent work.
